MyCo Install, the job in your pocket

The problem

MyCo ran the business, but the people doing the work were on roofs and in trucks, not at a desk. They needed the job, the photos, the documents, and the next step in one hand, without opening a laptop.

The idea

A native mobile companion to MyCo, built for one hand and a job site. The same system of record, reshaped for the field: your jobs, one-tap navigation, photo capture, the paperwork you actually need, and the actions that move the job.

What I built

• A native iOS and Android app from a single Flutter codebase, on the same system of record as the web app.
• Job photo capture and galleries, compressed and synced straight from the field.
• Maps and one-tap navigation to the job site.
• Work orders and proposals as in-app PDFs, so a crew never needed a laptop.
• A fast, gesture-driven interface: search, swipe actions, and bottom sheets.

Impact

• Put the whole job in one hand, so the field updated the system from the roof instead of after.
• Kept the office and the field on one record, in real time.
• Shipped to both app stores from a single codebase, maintained by one person.
